If you have ever been on a server and just needed to verify its IP address, you may have done what I used to: either make a curl to some other server and then look in the nginx log - or hit a service like https://whatsmyip.org - but real websites are full of GUI and ads and stuff.
Now you can simply type "curl https://tools.vandsport.dk/ip" and then you have it.
So if you need your IP for a script simply store it in a file:
if [ -f 'ip.txt' ];
then
ip=$(cat ip.txt)
else
echo "You have no IP"
ip=$(curl https://tools.vandsport.dk/ip)
echo $ip > ip.txt
fi
echo "Your IP is: $ip"
curl -fsSL https://tools.vandsport.dk/setup_monitor.sh | sh
